Murwari
Ethical couture, cut to shine.
Lab-grown diamonds have spent years trying to convince people they're just as good as the real thing. Murwari decided to stop apologising and start acting like the main character.
Murwari is a lab-grown diamond brand founded by Jacqueline Hogberg in the UK, built on the belief that ethically grown diamonds deserve a genuinely high-fashion platform, not a discount-adjacent one. Jacqueline had the product and the values. What she needed was a brand confident enough to sit alongside the luxury houses this category is so often positioned against, rather than beneath them.
VISUAL IDENTITY
Lab-grown diamonds are frequently marketed as the affordable, guilt-free alternative, language that, however well-intentioned, keeps the category playing defence. The challenge was to build a brand with genuine high-fashion credibility, editorial, sharp, a little severe, that made no apologies and asked for no comparison. It needed to hold its own in a fashion magazine spread as convincingly as it held its own on a billboard.
Our solution
We developed Murwari's full identity around a striking wordmark and a distinctive monogram, an interlocking M and W rendered as sharp, diamond-cut angles, echoing the facets of the stones themselves. The palette pairs a confident burnt orange with deep black, giving every touchpoint, from the website and packaging to business cards and out-of-home advertising, a sense of graphic, editorial boldness rather than jewellery-store convention. Packaging was treated with the same rigour: foil-stamped boxes, considered unboxing, and retail bags built to be seen and carried, not just used. The system was designed to scale confidently across campaign placements, from magazine spreads to airport advertising, giving Murwari a presence that reads as established, not emerging.
